The Deadly Art of Querying - Chapter one

Well, there is some good news and some bad news today. First the bad news... I received a rejection from Kensington Books. Now, the good news... Alicia Condon an extremely well known and respected personality in the publishing world, who happens to represent a large group of very successful romance writers at Kensington, sent the nice thank you note, wishing me good luck all the same and signed it "Alicia." While, it isn't all that much to celebrate, at least I'm glad to have put myself in the game. So tomorrow, it's try, try again and perhaps, one day, I'll be able to shout halleluiah! As Scarlett once said, "...after all tomorrow is another day."

Just a quick note to say welcome to everyone visiting this site. I hope to be adding new posts weekly, updating everyone on my progress. My completed manuscript, Sarah's Bible, is in rewrites. Two exciting works in progress, Morning Madness and Sunset Rose, should prove to be exciting challenges and I look forward to getting on with them. It has been such a wonderful experience, though I do tend to be a little OCD when I'm writing. But it is a passion that I welcome, gratefully. I've started sending out queries again and I'll be keeping you posted on new developments as they occur.
